Assessing the impact of the global crisis on the agriculture and food security situation in Nepal

WFP and FAO will build on existing tools and systems for food security monitoring and emergency impact assessments (a combination of household surveys, market assessments and desk reviews as well as consultations with relevant stakeholders), with the evidence generated shared with the Government, development and humanitarian partners and other stakeholders to inform the design of potential response plans and strategic interventions by humanitarian and development agencies, as well as to inform Government policies, plans and programmes.
