The overall goal of the project is to improve the health and well-being of five Dailit communities in Madhesh Province, Nepal, working towards Zero Leprosy. Over the course of the three yea project, and guided by Lalgadh Leprosy Hospital and leprosy-affected self-help group members, the project seeks to help overcome extreme poverty and stigmatisation throuh renewed personal and community mindsets; learning in self-help groups: economic, environmental and educational improvements through income generation, clean water, sanitation, hygiene, maternal and child health and school attendance
