Methodology
Nepal Impact is a discovery layer, not the legal source of a vacancy or procurement notice. Our job is to make records easier to find while showing enough evidence for you to judge them.
Collection and refresh schedule
Automated importers retrieve public listings, normalize common fields, retain source URLs and retrieval times, and write a run log. Fast-moving sources refresh several times a day; slower directories refresh weekly.

What “open” means
Deadline-confirmed
The source supplied a parseable future deadline. We close the record automatically when that date passes.
Recently source-listed
The source listed the record recently but did not expose a machine-readable deadline. It remains discoverable for a short, source-specific window and is always labelled “check source.”
The original notice controls. Never rely on Nepal Impact alone for a submission deadline, eligibility rule, addendum, fee, or application instruction.
Organization labels
- Ownership verified
- An email-verified representative submitted evidence and an administrator approved the claim.
- Source-listed
- A recognized directory or structured source supports the record. This does not mean the organization controls the profile.
- Directory record
- Compiled from public information and not yet ownership-verified.
AI policy
No AI-generated summaries or classifications are currently published. The prior enrichment path is disabled while a versioned evaluation set, confidence thresholds, and human review workflow are built. Source text remains canonical.
Corrections and accountability
Every opportunity and organization page links to a correction form. Reports are rate-limited, stored in a review queue, and tracked to resolution. We do not silently treat an automated import as proof that every field is correct.
