Privacy

Last updated 13 August 2026. Nepal Impact collects only the information needed to run accounts, employer tools, alerts, applications, and corrections. It does not sell personal data or run advertising trackers.

What we collect

  • Account name, email, password hash, verification state, and sign-in timestamps.
  • Organization-claim evidence and administrative review history.
  • Applications you choose to submit, including contact details, cover letter, and CV.
  • Saved searches, bookmarks, and newsletter preferences.
  • Optional email and details in correction reports.
  • Short-lived security and rate-limit data needed to prevent abuse.

How it is used

To authenticate you, deliver requested features, let verified hiring organizations review applications, maintain a public audit trail for administrative changes, send opted-in alerts, and investigate corrections or abuse.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the application, database, object storage, security controls, and aggregate traffic analytics. Transactional email is sent only when an email provider is configured. If you opt in, Nepal Impact uses Google Analytics to understand anonymous usage patterns such as page views and navigation. You can decline analytics without losing access to the site.

Retention and control

You can update or delete your account from Account settings. Account deletion revokes sessions, removes stored CV files, and anonymizes application records that must remain for hiring audit continuity. Newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Operational and correction records are kept only as long as needed for integrity and accountability.

Public data

Organization and listing records are compiled from public sources or submitted for publication. If public information is inaccurate or should be reviewed, use the correction form.
