Help us help the needy animals
75%data completenessIn Lalitpur Metropolitan City itself, there are not less than 7,000 dogs in 29 wards. We receive between 5 to 10 dog's treatment call every day via phone calls and emails. It takes us at least 5 to 6 hours or sometime the next day to reach the spot as our team is most of the time helping the dogs in different areas. Our target is to reach the needy dog on time and start the treatment so that we can save each life.

Period without Shame
85%data completenessThe cost for one pack of sanitary-pads is $0.75. This is the equivalent for rice, sufficient to feed one family for a day. Millions of the poorest girls and women in Nepal can simply not afford to buy them. In our villages, women and girls are using old rags, which is causing disease. Besides this during their monthly cycles women are considered impure and it is for these reasons that many girls are forgoing school during their period. We'd like to provide pads for 500 adolescents for 5 years.

How to read project data
A missing budget or date means the source did not provide it to Nepal Impact; it is not an estimate. Completeness measures the presence of core fields, while data confidence reflects source-level trust. Use the original source and the correction link on each project page for verification.
