HP-Mainstreaming Mental Health in Nepal through Self Advocacy

The project advocates for and raises awareness of the human rights of the mentally ill in. It will conduct an in-depth study on existing legal provision in Nepal in line with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. It will sensitize, motivate and influence government authorities to reform and adopt Mental Health Legislation, to amend discriminatory laws and practices, and to implement existing mental health policies.
