The Asia Foundation PPA with DFID CHASE is helping to address common challenges to peaceful state-society relations in fragile states, subnational conflict and post-conflict areas and transitional states at risk of renewed conflict. This activity represents programs in Nepal under the PPA during the period Jul-Sep 2014. These activities have the following objectives: 1) Formal peace processes and informal local peacebuilding efforts strengthened and more credible with conflict-affected populations; 2) Locally-accepted informal justice systems strengthened and expanded where government lacks capacity and legitimacy.;
