- Data for Development Programme in Nepal, Phase II
The D4D program is designed to improve data and information ecosystems at the provincial and local spheres for evidence-based decision-making that addresses local development challenges. It will work to achieve the following outcomes: (1) Improved coordination among federal, provincial and local government and non-government actors in data and statistics production. (2) Provincial and local governments use evidence-based, participatory decision-making processes. (3) Better data and analysis available to support the use of evidence in decision making by provincial and local governments

The Asia Foundation PPA with DFID CHASE is helping to address common challenges to peaceful state-society relations in fragile states, subnational conflict and post-conflict areas and transitional states at risk of renewed conflict. This activity represents programs in Nepal under the PPA during the period Oct-Dec 2014. These activities have the following objectives: 1) Formal peace processes and informal local peacebuilding efforts strengthened and more credible with conflict-affected populations; 2) Locally-accepted informal justice systems strengthened and expanded where government lacks capacity and legitimacy.;
