To support the documentation of the 17th-century Kartik Nach, a month-long dance originally commissioned for and performed at the former Patan Royal Palace. The dance showcases Nepals ethnic diversity, yet with the last full performance of the dance in 1949 only a very few performers survive who understand the dance in its entirety. This project includes the comprehensive documentation of the Kartik Nach and the transmission of the tradition through training workshops.
