Reducing Social Acceptance of Violence Against Women in Nepal

This project is developed on the basis of the learnings of We Can campaign and will be implemented through the two self emerged We Can networks in the western and central regions. The project will be implemented in eight Village Development Committees (VDCs) of four districts in the western and central regions. The project is aimed at creating an enabling environment for effective participation of women at the community level in influencing local institutions and society to reduce social acceptance of VAW in close coordination with local government bodies such as VDCs and other local institutions .
