CSF 13-22 YEAR 1 PAYMENT 'SHAKTI' NEPAL PROJECT
The ‘Shakti – Empowering Civil Society in Nepal’ project aims to contribute to a sustainable and empowered civil society by mobilising marginalised people in three districts in rural Nepal - Kanchanpur, Kailali and Bajura, together with the implementing partner Shakrami Samaj. The objective is to focus on education and empowerment in the areas of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion; Youth; Climate Resilience and Food Security. It will also strengthen the capacity of local and provincial governments to make and implement policies that reflect the needs of constituents relating to these areas. The key activities include expanding the skills and knowledge for community organisations, lobbying and accessing resources and entitlements from government, establishing new socially inclusive CDGs in Bajura.
