Khokana Earthquake Debris Removal Initiative
In Khokana, near Kathmandu, the recent earthquake destroyed or damaged nearly all of its 1,000+ houses. People are now living in tents and temporary shelters. There is an urgent need to clear the debris and rubble of broken buildings so that rebuilding efforts can begin. Unfortunately, the community cannot afford to pay for the heavy machinery and skilled labour needed to remove the rubble. We ask for your support to help the Khokana community clear the way for a brighter future.
