This project aims to provide innovative solutions to the food security issues in the high altitude areas of Humla District through the provision agricultural training, targeted literacy and in the longer term, through the provision of a sustainable means of food production enabling communities to reduce their dependency on food aid and other forms of short term aid allowing then to increase their self-sufficiency and the long term sustainability
