Outline Description: What would you like to do? The project will empower and build the capacity of poor and marginalised women and support them to utilise their leadership skills so as to bring transformative change in personal, social and political spheres through a shift in the existing power relations. It will support them to increase their participation in decision making, influence local governance and advocate for their rights through active participation in all democratic processes. The project covering Village Development Committees (VDCs) of two districts -Surkhet and Makwanpur - - works at the central level also, specifically for policy influencing.
