Rural Livelihood Support Programme in Nepal
The project's aims to improve food security and livelihoods status of poor, socially excluded and vulnerable women and men through provision of seed, micro -irrigation, enterprises development, market access and capacity strengthening of farmers groups and cooperatives. The project results will directly contribute to the programme outputs, which are increased access to seed, micro irrigation, market and advocacy on food rights, joint land ownerships, 15% Village Development Committee (VDC) budget allocation in agriculture sector and strengthened community capacity to maintain community assets and increase awareness through women empowerment centre.
