Safer Remittances and Improved Livelihoods

The project will attract the attention of the government, private sectors and civil society organizations toward formulating appropriate policies and developing favourable mechanism for local level pre -departure orientation to the potential migrant workers. The piloting project specifically seeks to protect the migrants from losing the money and other pitfalls through these orientation package. The project will also provide financial literacy with an objective to utilize the remittances for improving livelihoods. The project activities and outcomes will be well documented and will be used for evidence based advocacy
