- Social Mobilisation Study for Local Governance and Community Development Programme (LGCDP)
This project has four key objectives: 1: to review the effectiveness of social mobilisation processes against original intentions; 2: to examine the effects of the change in purpose of social mobilisation between the first LGCDP 1 programme to that of the revised LGCDP2 (from building a voice, to building of livelihood assets); 3: to review the effectiveness of institutional structures used to deliver social mobilisation; and 4: to look forward to describe possible mechanisms to build citizen engagement in local government.

This is an evaluation of the Samarth-Nepal Market Development Programme supported by DFID. The main objective is to independently assess for DFID the outcome and impact level results and provide information on the effectiveness of the programme in meeting its stated aims. It will also provide information for DFID, the Government of Nepal and other key stakeholders on the value of M4P approach.

The Karnali Education Programme (KEP) is based on the concept of the employment guarantee, with the objective of uplifting the livelihood and improving the social and economic condition of the people of Karnali. In addition to offering the district based wage rate to encourage a poverty focus, the KEP aims to ensure that it reaches the left out poor through additional targeting strategies to focus on families who are food insecure and who do not have other opportunities or alternative sources of livelihood.
