Climate Resilient Communities and Sustainable Livelihood Initiatives for Pro-Poor, continuation
The aim of the project is to improve the climate resilience of the most vulnerable communities by promoting entrepreneurial skills in agriculture, climate-resilient agricultural techniques, innovative irrigation methods and forest management through training and workshops. All activities are carried out in cooperation with the local government. Additional activities include work to update the governments climate action plan in order to reduce climate induced vulnerability.

Decentralized Rural Infrastructure and Livelihood Project (DRILP) Phase III
DRILP Phase 3 will support the Government of Nepal to accelerate recovery and reconstruction following the devastating earthquake of 25 April 2015 and the major aftershock of 12 May 2015. The project will provide the Technical Assistance (TA) to implement the Asian Development Bank (ADB) financed Earthquake Emergency Assistance Project in rebuilding 450 kms of damaged roads in 12 districts[1] of Nepal and rehabilitate 200 kms of trails in two[2] districts. [1] The 12 earthquake affected project districts are Solukhumbu, Okhaldhunga, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Kavre, Sindhuli, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Lamjung, Gorkha and Chitwan [2] Dolakha and Gorkha

Rural Health Development Project
Through its project planning and implementation approach RHDP has empowered community groups, especially women, and also influenced the village development committees (VDCs) to integrate community health demands in VDC planning, and thus contributed to local state building and better service delivery. After 17 years of cooperation, this will be the last phase of RHDP that will focus on consolidation and sustainability. As in the past, the project will aim at improving overall health status of people, especially of women, poor and disadvantaged groups in remote areas of Dolakha, Ramechhap and Okhaldhunga districts. Primary beneficiaries will be women, children, adolescents, and men, with special attention to Dalits and Janajatis.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Recovery Activity (WRA)
(Nepal): USAID will improve the health and well-being of the earthquake-affected populations living in two districts, Sindhupalchowk and Dolakha. USAID will improve community water and public sanitation infrastructure; promote hygiene; and strengthen Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene governance. USAID will form or revitalize water users' committees (WUCs) to construct or renovate community based water supply systems and develop the capacity of WUCs to operate and manage these systems. USAID will also help schools and communities promote menstrual hygiene management and support improved hygiene practices.
