Local peace initiatives in Nepal
The project aims to promote social peace, strengthen the capability of women and youth and consolidate peace structures at the community level to develop a resilient and inclusive society. This is done by supporting the development of individual capacities of women, youth and marginalised groups, promoting a culture of peace and social harmony through initiatives and spaces and conflict prevention, particularly in the diverse groups and communities in the project area. To this end, various training courses, workshops and training sessions are offered. Regular meetings are held, a steering committee and youth groups are formed and the overall activities are constantly reviewed and evaluated.
