Rapid Enterprise and Livelihoods Recovery Project
The Rapid Enterprise and Livelihoods Recovery Project support Nepal’s long term recovery. The early recovery package of support will focus on three key themes: meeting the education needs of vulnerable children, with a focus on girls and children with disability as they transition back to school, and “building back better”; rebuilding livelihoods of women and other vulnerable populations; and rebuilding social cohesion, by ensuring there is access to alternative dispute resolution for addressing disaster-related conflict, violence and exploitation of women. Funding is provided to the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) for the Rapid Enterprise and Livelihoods Recovery Project (RELRP) . RELRP will help people recover their livelihoods. Through quick reactivation of local enterprises and establishment of new enterprises the project will also rebuild local economies. The project, which will be implemented in cooperation with the Nepal Ministry of Industry, targets a total of 12,000
