Building a gendered media which contributes to diversity, youth empowerment and emergency and disaster response in South Asia

In 2014, South Asia scored 19.3 percent higher than the global average, indicating widespread discrimination. 60% of people aged between 15 and 24 live in Asia and the Pacific; that's about 700 million youth. Out of the 700 million youth, over 85 million young people in the region live in extreme poverty on less than $1.90 a day. This activity seeks to contribute to addressing the vulnerability of women and youth in South Asia through Media, for their strengthened contribution to Sustainable Development and a better environment of a Culture of peace in the region.
