International networking of the Nepal Dialogue Forum on Human Rights and Peace in Nepal

Despite the countrys emergency situation, Nepals situation receives little international attention. Especially in the current geopolitical situation, there is a risk that attention will be limited to countries affected by wars or violent conflicts. The project aims to strengthen the scope for action of civil society actors in Nepal in order to increase pressure on the Nepalese government at international level to address the social problems, marginalisation and the human rights situation in Nepal. The target group is not only civil society actors, but also political decision-makers in Germany, at the level of the European Union and at the United Nations. This is to be achieved through lobbying and advocacy talks, networking, publications and conferences.
