Climate Resilient Communities (CRC)

Climate Resilient Communities (CRC) supports an increase in climate change investments and the mainstreaming of climate change across Australia’s development portfolio so that people in the IndoPacific are more resilient to climate change and disasters. CRC works with bilateral and regional programs to support the climate change priorities of partner governments and better address climate change and disaster risks. CRC is both a programming and an enabling facility, providing specialist resources and expertise to transition towards climate-resilient programming. CRC has six core services: co-funding for gender-responsive and inclusive climate programming, particularly in the water, food, energy and nature-based solutions sectors; program cycle support for co-funded programs; climate and disaster resilience technical assistance (sector agnostic); support for mobilising additional climate finance; facilitating knowledge and learning; and public diplomacy.
