Rehabilitation of Critical Trail Bridges Single Phase
The lack of physical access to economic opportunities, natural resources and social services is highly correlated with incidence of poverty in Nepal. Social and economic vulnerability of disadvantaged groups is often exacerbated by reduced access to road network. One of the major reasons for constraints in rural Nepal is in-adequate or unsafe river crossings and lack of its maintenance. The proposed intervention will improve safe river crossings by rehabilitating the 137 critical trail bridges.
