Development Visit From Nepal

The project “Development visit from Nepal Scouts” aims to actualize the experiences we gained during the pilot project "Youth Forum for Change." Here, we learned the importance of being physically together when planning, brainstorming, and connecting. It has proven crucial for the process, and we are confident that this project would be a catalyst for the further development of the overall partnership, allowing many more scouts to engage in the partnership. During the pilot project visit, we developed a timeline for 2024 and partly for 2025 and 2026. When finished, we all agreed that this would have been close to impossible to complete online. Furthermore, our partnership has now finished the initial phase, allowing us as partners to be more honest, direct, and understandable to each other. Therefore, with representatives for the youth, scout centres, activity developers, and the project leaders, we feel well assured that this project/visit will play a key role in ensuring that the dreams encapsulated in the timeline will actually be realised successfully.
