Empowering women farmers in Nepal: HEALTHY SOILS & FARMING LIVELIHOODS
This project aims to strengthen and improve livelihoods of poor women farmers in Nepal by teaching regenerative farming techniques. We will implement a peer mentorship model to support poor women farmers in Nepal to adopt regenerative agriculture techniques that improve soil fertility and increase incomes. This proposed pilot project aims to reach 500 farmers, (400 will be women), targeting women heads of households and ethnic and marginalised groups, primarily from the Dalit community.
