Mitigating the impact of floods and landslides on women’s and children’s dignity in four affected districts (Surkhet, Banke, Bardiya and Dang)

With CERF funds, UNICEF and UNFPA will procure and distribute specialized NFIs for women and children affected by floods in Nepal. The joint project complements the distribution of standard NFIs by the Nepalese Red Cross with UNICEF and UNFPA providing clothing for children and dignity kits for women who have lost their belongings. The project will benefit some 4,000 women and nearly 13,000 children between 5 and 18 years of age.
