Increasing access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for earthquake affected population in Nepal

CERF funds will support immediate WASH needs of some 235,000 people affected by the earthquake. In particular, UNICEF will provide safe water through water tanking, emergency rehabilitation of springs, and distribution of water tanks. In addition, UNICEF will construct some 4,700 temporary latrines and bathing spaces and distribute 47,000 hygiene kits. The activities will be completed within three months.
