Inclusive Hamro Coffee
The project Inclusive was developed to support the People With Disabilities for joining in the Coffee Value Chain. It is the continuation of Hamro Coffee as inclusive coffee value chain. The inclusive CVC task order is a Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) funded project and, it envisions being action-oriented and result based. The Light for the World (LFW) is leading this project whereas ICCO and NFDN are downstream implementing partners. The project design has driven an understanding of mitigating gaps among people with disabilities concerning their livelihood, stakeholders' participation, and engagement of Organizations for People with Disabilities (OPD) throughout the project lifecycle. The envisioned innovations will be implemented in two districts (Kavre and Sindhupalchok). The targeted for this innovation will be people with disabilities (physical, intellectual, mental, sensorial, pertaining to vision and hearing). The project focuses on working at different levels: i) Individual and family ii) Coffee Producer Organizations iii) Entrepreneurs/traders iv) Local /National service providers v) System and governance. The domain of change across these different levels will be inter-linked with research, data and evidence which will be projected in form of the database management system of DID.
