Although the education system is developed all the time in Nepal, still many of the students in the project area in Kathmandu Valley leave school before finishing their basic education studies. This dropout rate has been recognized to be the developmental problem within this project frame. There are plenty reasons for this reality. The activities of this project try to tackle some of them. During the project the awareness and community of the community towards the education of their children will be strengthened by mobilizing them and giving the parents literacy classes. The management of school funds will be turned more transparent by strengthening parents teacher associations. Teachers will be trained to improve the quality of education and to make school environment more school friendly. Children will be given opportunities to express themselves through child clubs.
