Strengthening Media and Information Literacy in Nepal
UNESCO will work with education institutions, youth organizations, and media partners to support gender-responsive, inclusive Media and Information Literacy (MIL) policies and digital initiatives that strengthen resilience to disinformation, misinformation, and gender-based online hate speech. This workplan contributes to UNESCO’s regional priority on inclusive, safe, and rights-based digital transformation, while strengthening young people’s particularly young women's role as informed, safe, and responsible digital actors.
