Funding under this investment supports a partnership with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) for the provision of livelihoods options for the Bhutanese Refugees in Nepal. Australian funding will primarily support livelihoods and self reliance; education and training; community-based protection for vulnerable segments of the population with particular focus on sexual and gender-based violence, child protection issues, self-harm and substance abuse.
