Rapid response to the severely flood affected farming communities for the enhancement of food security status and the restoration of the production capacity

The main objective of this project is to provide quality agricultural production inputs to initiate farming activities for the people affected by the floods in Nepal. With this CERF's grant, FAO will procure and distribute 6,500 composite packets of vegetable seeds, two metric tons of pulses (lentil) seed, and 400 sets of essential farming tools. The project will benefit 36,400 people and will be completed within a six-month timeframe.
