Subnational Governance Program for Nepal - Phase 2

The Sub-National Governance Program Phase 2 will build on the progress of Phase 1 to establish better systems and processes to promote clarity of functions and responsibilities between the spheres of government. This will be achieved through evidence based policy support, dispute resolution and inclusive coordination and collaboration between different stakeholders. The program will support the development, implementation and consolidation of new policies, processes and management tools through consultative processes in selected sub-national governments. This will provide more inclusive and effective service delivery at the sub-national level, particularly to promote health and economic security, and contribute towards more stable federal governance in Nepal.
