Support to Nepal Health Sector Programme II

To increase access to and quality of health services to 25 million Nepali people, focusing in particular on women, girls, and those who are poor and socially or geographically excluded. By contributing directly to the Government of Nepal’s national health budget to ensure that adequate staffing, medicines and equipment are in place. By 2015 this support will result in 370,000 pregnant women and children receiving nutrition services, 116,000 women giving birth with a skilled attendant and 229,000 additional women having family planning services.
