2008-09 country allocation of IRF
Funding through the IRF is targeted in a strategic way to address the macro-context issues within particular countries and regions where protracted displacement and refugee situations feature as co-indicators and/or drivers of under-development. The 2008-09 budget provides for the continuation of a $15 million allocation to the IRF. In accordance with a 19 Jan Ministerial Submission the IRF will allocate in a strategic way through funding to country operations of key multilaterals or through strategic UN appeals.
