Sweden supports the 2009 ICRC Emergency Appeal with 450 million SEK, of which 30 million SEK is to be allocated towards ICRC operations in Zimbabwe and 30 million SEK towards SRC partnership with ICRC. The ICRC programmes are divided into four main areas, namely protection, assistance, prevention and cooperation with national Red Cross and Red Crescent societies.
