The Activity is in response to initial humanitarian relief and early recovery efforts in response to the April 2015 earthquakes in Nepal which caused over 8,600 fatalities, destroyed housing and crucial infrastructure and led to great humanitarian need. This Activity willl fund seven NGOs to provide food security, liveilhoods, education, resilience, water, sanitation and hygeine, and shelter activities.
