The Green Evolution: Pathways for food system Transformation
5,000 smallholder farmer households with one farmer from each household (40% women) which will be clustered into 160 groups. 3,000 additional farmers reached out through climate information service;600 extension workers from relevant departments of state and national governmen.1,200 community members reached through food system dialogues and food system analysis (50% women); 10 food business operators (micro level.25 elected representatives (members of parliament, members of the legislative authority) and 100 officials from the agriculture/horticulture/livestock/fisheries/rural development/food sectors at the district, state and national levels;600 advisors from the fields of agriculture/horticulture/livestock/fisheries/rural development/nutrition at the level of districts. or lower administrative units under federal/national governments.200 students (50% women) and 35 members of civil society (40% women), who will take on the role of multipliers, will be reached through capacity building.Altogether, the program will reach out to approximately 10,295 and in total, the programme is expected to reach 249,900 people indirectly.
