The overall objective of the project is to create national movement Teach for Nepal of young people to enhance quality of education in public schools in Nepal. The project aims to attract outstanding university graduates and young professionals to teach in public and community schools for two years as Fellows primarily in maths science and English to decrease achievement gaps that exists between private and public schools students. The project will be co-funded with Nepalese private sector companies. Priv ate sector will also offer working placements for the Fellows after their two years engagement is public schools.
