Strengthening the E-commerce debate at the WTO

The short-term goal is to organise a side event during the Global Review on Aid for Trade on two relevant topics within e-commerce. These topics are consumer protection and financial inclusion. This project creates a safe and interactive space for self-critical debate and strengthens proactive engagement by developing countries in ongoing e-commerce debates in Geneva. This project links higher-level debates on rules and regulations to practical in-country examples by stakeholders from developing and developed countries, strengthening trust between parties and improving mutual understanding for arguments in a thus far very polarised debate.
