TO14 Nepal: Strengthening Systems of Inclusive Education for Children with Disabilities in Nepal and Support at all levels of Early Childhood Development, Mainstream Education and Training

This initiative aims to improve systems for the expansion of access to quality Inclusive Education (IE) for 3 to 13 years old children with disabilities in Kalika Municipality, Chitwan, an area identified as one of the most disadvantaged in Nepal. It will target children with disabilities of school age who are in and out of school, placing emphasis on (1) children who are currently enrolled in education; (2) children who have dropped out of school; (3) and children who have never been enrolled in a school or educational institution due to an inaccessible and unsupportive educational environment. By working through five Stages (5A), the project will carry out different activities tailored to the needs and constraints of the identified target groups.
