The aim of the project is to provide loans for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in rural areas. The direct target group are commercial and development banks that provide financial services for MSMEs. As part of a complementary measure, the capacities of the participating banks are also to be strengthened and the Nepalese central bank Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is to be supported in setting up and managing a revolving fund for MSME financing.
