EnDev Learning and Innovation Agenda 3.0

Developing inclusive, sustainable and resilient energy access markets requires navigating complex choices about who leads, who benefits, and what ultimately drives lasting change. To explore these questions, EnDev convened a structured learning process designed and facilitated by Perspectivity, built around four fundamental tensions that repeatedly emerge in energy access market development: public versus private leadership, market expansion versus inclusion, rapid impact versus systemic transformation, and technology-driven versus people-driven change.Through a series of four global online dialogues, participants were invited to examine the assumptions, values and trade-offs that underpin different perspectives. Not to reach consensus, but to collectively deepen understanding. The insights generated through this process have been synthesised into a set of Messages to the Future per tension, as well as a meta-analysis surfacing broader patterns and questions across all four themes.
