(USAID Bureau For Food Security (BFS)): Purpose: .The grant supports the World Bank's Living Standards Measurement Study (LSMS) Multi-Donor Trust Fund in strengthening national statistical systems including the availability, quality, use and usability of household surveys in Feed the Future countries. It is a component of the Feed the Future Core Agricultural and Rural Data Surveys (CARDS) project...Activities:.Activities include technical assistance on the design and implementation of household surveys, methodological research on best practices in survey methods, and increased promotion and dissemination of data. 2019 funding supports methodological research, analytical support, capacity building, and outreach. This activity aims to build the capacity of partner countries in survey design, execution, data analysis and use in support of their journey to self-reliance, a USAID priority. . .As the multilateral organization overseeing the Multi-Donor Trust Fund and its 30+ year history generating high-quality data, incorporating innovative technologies and improved survey methodologies, and building technical capacity of host countries, the World Bank has a comparative advantage in conducting this work and thus, was chosen non-competitively to carry out this work, following USAID procurement policies............
