Ipas' VISION: A world where every woman and girl has the right and ability to determine her own sexuality and reproductive health Ipas' MISSION: Women and girls have improved sexual and reproductive health and rights through enhanced access to and use of safe abortion and contraceptive care The Ultimate Outcome is to create sustainable abortion ecosystems, defined as a dynamic condition in which resilient local stakeholders and systems are actively accountable and committed to abortion rights and responsive to everyone's abortion needs. The three immediate outcomes: 1. Increased Political Support and Leadership: Efforts that support legal and policy advocacy that improves gender-responsive policies, legislation, and financial commitments to safe abortion care. 2. Improved Knowledge and Support: Efforts that ensure that accurate information on abortion is available and accessible, people have access to medical abortion (MA) drugs with or without a prescription, abortion decisions are based on need and preference, and pathways to abortion are clear and accessible. 3. Strengthened Pathways: Efforts that ensure that pathways to abortion are clear and accessible and that access to abortion is readily available and integrated throughout the health care system, with services free of stigma, respectful of human rights, and available through a trained and supported health workforce that meets service delivery standards. One crosscutting outome: 1. Reduced abortion stigma: Because stigma is a major barrier to improving abortion access, Ipas includes stigma reduction as a cross-cutting outcome.
