FLC: Nepal NP/PYM UCEP Underprivileged Children's Educational Programs Phase II

Overall objective: Impart marketable skills training psychosocial counselling and job placement support to youths from targeted community who are suffering from unemployment and different forms of economic and socio-political disparities. Specific objectiv es: -Provide quality technical education and vocational training to 240 youths -Empower them with career guidance and soft skill training -Ensure job placement of at least 80 youths (80%) job placement of graduates -Develop confidence on those youths to be self reliant and self dependentIdentify the community based organization or traditional institutions at targeted community to assure the identification of needy youths under this project Coordinate with them (CBOs community level structure for example wom en's group child Clubs) targeted Community VDC and District Level governmental line agencies CBOs and NGOs Develop finalize and share trainees selection criteria with all stakeholders Collect profiles of prospective youths and conduct interview with them S elect and finalize the trainees and arrange their arrival at training centre Orient about the training and enrol them Impart vocational training including soft skills and life skill lessons Conduct exposure visit in related factories workshop and working locations as per training Provide career guidance and psychosocial counselling support Conduct Exposure Visit and arrange OJT Support the graduates
