F.a: Nepal Field Presence suppor for the Country Programme
In order to improve programme quality, it is of essence to have presence in the country. Working with the local partners successfully requires working hand in hand throughout the project cycle. The field presence is in line with FCA’s regional strategy, and supporting the strategic goals especially related to programme quality, capacity building, advocacy, programme development, thematic/technical support and broadening the funding base. The overall objective is to improve effectiveness, quality and impa ct of the FCA Nepal country programme focusing on the thematic areas, Right to livelihood, Right to education and Right to peace through established field presence. Expected results: • Established a functional working relationship and collaboration with UN agencies, I/NGOs, CBOs and government authorities at district and national level • New partnership and networking opportunities are created to broadening the funding opportunities • Effective coordination of work and cooperation with other aid or ganizations • Capacity of local partners are built for effective and efficient programme implementation • Strategic and operational planning for the country programme including programme and project PME and administrative support Partners: Local a nd regional civil society actors, international organisations, donors
