Water for Women Climate Resilient Inclusive Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Fund (2018-2025)

Funding under this investment (2018-2025; $159.9 million) has supported improved sustainable access to climate resilient inclusive water, sanitation and hygiene services in 16 Asia Pacific countries. The initiative follows input from the High-Level Panel for Water in New York and the Civil Society WASH Fund. In its second phase (project implementation from January 2023 - December 2024), the Fund is partnering with eight Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to implement 15 WASH projects with the aim of improving the delivery of inclusive climate-resilient WASH. Research remains an important focus, with four research partners undertaking seven new research projects with the aim of addressing knowledge and practice gaps for climate-resilient, inclusive WASH. To date, the Fund has supported more than 3.7 million people, including the most marginalised in communities.
