F.a: Improving school environment in Nepa

The project aim is to develop child and environmentally friendly schools in rural Eastern Nepal by supporting school child clubs in their activities and the cooperation between school stakeholders (child club, school management committee, parent-teacher as sotiation, school administration, Village education committee) in preparing school improvement plans (SIP). The project provides capacitation to Child Club board members on child rights, life skills, gender, social inclusion and environmental issues. The s chool stakeholders participate in trainings and workshops to manage the schools efficiently and transparently. Through Child Clubs the youth can contribute to the development of their own shools and communities. There is also hardware components to improve the classrooms, sanitation and safe drinking water facilities in project schools. The project will result in quality rural schools with good environment to study and work. The project is implemented by Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness (ECCA) . http://www.ecca.org.np/home
